Mr. and Mrs. Mine don't usually eat breakfast or if there is time, they will have fried food left over from the day before. But I think it is better that they eat breakfast every morning, because if they eat food only twice a day, they absorb more fat, cholesterol or sugar etc. at lunch or dinner. So they will take more cholesterol than if they eat three times a day. And if they have breakfast, they should not eat fried food but have food that will help them to intake vitamin and carbohydrates. Vitamins are very good for our bodies. For instance, Vitamin C protects us from scurvy, and Vitamin A is very good for our retina. They should get up early in the morning, and both Mr. and Mrs. M should eat breakfast every morning. When Mr. Mine comes home late at night, they share fast food that Mr. M picks up on his way from his office. But I recommend that at such a late time they not eat fast food. This kind of food includes a lot of cholesterol and fat. They should have more fresh and low-cholesterol food.
Mr. Mine's lunch is usually a hamburger or fried chicken or fish. And his dinner is fast food pizza, yakitori, or Chinese noodles with eggs, pork and chicken. He intakes a lot of cholesterol every day. And he eats few vegetables. So he doesn't absorb vitamins. If he continues this lifestyle, his arteries may become narrower and he may have greater risk of arterial sclerosis. He should eat more HDL-food (like vegetables), because HDL widens our arteries. HDL is good for our health, but LDL is bad. In addition, he has no time to exercise and he is heavy smoker. These points make his health outlook worse. So his LDL level and blood pressure are high. He also has to make more time to exercise for his health.
Mrs. M's lunch is very simple rice with some meat and sweet desert. Her dinner is snack food, sandwiches, cheese or eggs, with butter or margarine on the bread. In addition, she eats more food with her husband, fast food he has bought. These facts cause her to be overweight. Fatty food includes a lot of bad cholesterol so her LDL level will increase if she continues this lifestyle. She eats two, three, or four times a day, but her meals are all very fatty food. So she is 10 kilos overweight. And she doesn't have enough time to exercise. For her health, at first she needs to eat three times a day regularly, and she should make time to exercise.
Mr and Mrs. Mine are very busy, I understand, so they think they have no time for a good lifestyle. But I want them to think which is important -- their health or job. If they continue this lifestyle, they will become very seriously ill some years later on. First, they have to eat more vegetables and low-cholesterol foods. Right now they eat only fatty foods, and other kinds of nutrition are not well absorbed (vitamins, calcium, carbohydrates and so on). Variation is needed for our health. Vitamin D and calcium make our bones stronger. They have a risk for not only arteriosclerosis but also osteoporosis. To keep their bodies healthy, they have to take the time to eat healthy food and exercise.
