Mr and Mrs Mine (M) have many problems about their eating habits and lifestyles. There is a close connection between eating habit and lifestyle. They both work hard, so they may not afford to care much about their diet. This is one of the most serious problems for them. Mr and Mrs M usually skip breakfast. If people don't eat breakfast, they don't have enough energy to work actively. If there's time, they'll fry some food left over from the day before. Food left over from the day before is probably oxidized, so it's not good to eat. And to eat fried food too much is also not good for their health. If they continue in this pattern, they may become sick in the future.
Mr M's lunch is usually hamburger or fried chicken or fried fish. It is bad for Mr M to eat fried food too much. Fried food is full of fat. He intakes too much fat from animals, so he intakes "bad" , saturated fat. There is an early sign that Mr M is not in perfect health. Mr M has high blood pressure and occasionally experiences angina chest pain. Mr M has low levels of HDL but his LDL level is 170. The desirable LDL cholesterol level is below 130. So he has many risk factors of arteriosclerosis. Lack of regular exercise, smoking and high blood pressure are risk factors of arteriosclerosis. And these factors lead to heart disease and cancer, including lung cancer. To reduce or remove risk factors, at first, he should be self-conscious about his health. He had better do regular exercise for thirty minutes a day and eat a balanced diet, and not eat fatty foods so much. Instead of eating fried food, he should eat fish, vegetables, beans and fruits. These foods are low in fat and contain many kinds of nutrition, such as vitamins, calcium and so on. Though he is a heavy smoker, he should quit smoking or decrease the number of cigarettes he smokes.
At lunch, Mrs M eats a simple meal, usually a bowl of rice with some meat (usually beef and pork) and a sweet dessert, cake, cookies or ice cream. As for dessert, Mrs M eats dessert at every lunch. To eat dessert sometimes may be O.K., but everyday is not. This causes her to be overweight. It is natural, then, that she is 10 kilos overweight. In addition, there are early signs that Mrs M is not in perfect health. Mrs M has both high HDL and LDL levels. Her LDL is 165. Mrs M is now more concerned about her appearance than her health. But because she is 10 kilos overweight, she eats only two meals a day. This is not healthy, so eating three meals a day leads to a healthier body. And a balanced diet also leads to losing weight. In addition to that, she had better do regular exercise. Regular exercise leads to a desirable body weight. Being overweight is a common cause of cancer, heart disease and diabetes. Further, the most important thing is that she has a family history of cancer. This is an unavoidable fact for her. So she should always be more aware of her health than anyone else. She doesn't eat vegetables at all, in other words, she is short of vitamins A, C, D, E and calcium. So, to prevent disease, she should eat low-fat and high-fiber foods, such as vegetables, fruits and beans, as much as possible. Eating foods that are high in fiber can help relieve some problems with constipation, hemorrhoids, etc. And dietary fiber may help lower her cholesterol level.
Now, Mr and Mrs M don't have disease, but if they continue in their current habits, they will become sick in the future. They both work hard, so they have physical and psychological stress. To remove or relieve stress, exercise is one of the best ways for them. And, there are signs that they are not in perfect health. If they notice this, it is possible for them to prevent diseases. Another important thing is that they have put off having children for the next four or five years, but they will have children in the future, so they should pay more attention to their health now. It is possible to influence their health of their children. To live a happy life, it is important to be and stay healthy. So I advise them that they should have more of a self-conscious spirit and that they care about their health. And I recommend that they encourage each other to promote each other's health.
