Mr. and Mrs. Mine's diet is very unbalanced, and they have a high risk of heart disease, some kinds of cancer and so on. In some ways, both Mr. and Mrs. Mine have the same problems with their diet. First their meals are very irregular. If we skip a meal, we lose our energy and tend to lose our temper. So they have to have well-regulated meals. Second, their meals are unbalanced. They have a lot of foods high in saturated fats, for example, fried chicken, hamburger, Chinese noodle, and so on. Saturated fats increase our blood cholesterol levels. Cholesterol is a one of the risk factors of the heart disease. In addition, Mr. and Mrs. Mine eat few foods rich in polyunsaturated fat, for example, vegetables, fruits, and so on. Polyunsaturated fat decreases our blood cholesterol level. Therefore, Mr. and Mrs. Mine's diets increase their cholesterol level and risk of heart disease. So Mr. and Mrs. Mine must have more vegetables and fruits. And they have to decrease fried foods. Third, both Mr. and Mrs. Mine lack regular exercise. Regular exercise is a very effective way of decreasing our weight and blood cholesterol levels. So they must exercise regularly. For example they can walk to their office instead of using a car or bus, and they can enjoy playing tennis or swimming on their holidays.
Nonetheless, Mr. and Mrs. Mine have some dissimilar problems. First, Mr. Mine usually has hamburger or fried chicken for his lunch. These lunches increase his blood cholesterol level. So he must eat simpler lunches, for example, a riceball, meat or fish, and salad. Second, Mr. Mine has high blood pressure and angina chest pain. These symptoms show that his arteries are narrowed by cholesterol, and this could be the beginning of heat disease. In addition his HDL level is very high and his LDL level is very low. HDL transports the cholesterol from the wall of the artery and keeps good blood flow. While LDL stores the cholesterol in the wall of the artery and interrupts blood flow. Mr. Mine has a high risk of heart disease. He must care about his meal and his cholesterol level. Third Mr. Mine is a heavy smoker. Smoking decreases oxygen in our blood and increases our blood cholesterol level. So he must stop smoking
While Mrs. Mine's life is a little better than Mr. Mine's , because she has a simple lunch and her LDL level is high. And she isn't a smoker. But she has a lot of problems. First she eats sweet desserts after lunch. Sweets are bad for our health, because they are high in calories and increase our cholesterol level. So she had better have fruits instead of sweets. And she has cheese and eggs in her sandwich at dinner. Cheese and egg are high calorie foods too. So Mrs. Mine had better have vegetables or fruits in sandwiches instead of cheese or egg. Second, Mrs. Mine has a high level of LDL. So she must keep her high level of HDL and decrease her level of LDL. Third, she has a high risk of some kinds of cancers. Because her mother and aunts had cancer. If member of one's family have had cancer, there is a tendency for one to be more likely to develop cancer. Therefore, she must tale care about her meals. A high cholesterol diet increases risk of cancer.
In conclusion, Mr. and Mrs. Mine must have l regular meals and decrease intake of saturated fats, as well as increase intake of polyunsaturated fat foods. For example, they must eat a lot of vegetables and fruits. And they must eat boiled and grilled foods instead of fried foods. If they have no time to cook vegetables, they must have fruit and vegetable juice. Fruits and vegetables are plentiful sources of vitamins, minerals, and biochemical compounds. Vitamins help regulate metabolism, convent fats and carbohydrates into energy. So fruits and vegetables help to keep our body healthy. Second, they must exercise regularly and control their weight and blood cholesterol level. I think this is the best way of decreasing Mr. and Mrs. Mine's risk of heart disease and cancer.
