Naka Gotoh writes:
Mr and Mrs M's lifestyle is far from healthy. There are two problems between them. First, their eating habit aren't balanced.
1) irregular pattern of diet
And other problems are as follows.
3) smoking (for Mr. M)
1) They skip their breakfast. This makes for an irregular pattern of diet. And they eat fast food at night. Irregular diet, to eat something you want when you want, is the source of over-eating. That is to say that foods which we can eat conveniently are unbalanced and contain too much fat. This pattern causes overweight. Irregular patterns of diet produce a bad body cycle.
2) All foods Mr and Mrs M eat contain too much fat and very little fiber. This unbalanced diet results in many problems. People need many kinds of nutrition to keep their body healthy. For example, fat is essential because it is a valuable energy source, it carries fat-soluble vitamins, and so on. And blood cholesterol (a type of fat) plays an especially important role for our health. Cholesterol is also contained in certain foods that you eat, such as eggs, meat and dairy products. When you eat these foods often, the amount of cholesterol in your blood is increased. Foods high in saturated fat can also raise the amount of cholesterol in your blood, because your liver turns saturated fat into cholesterol. Cholesterol travels through the blood in different types of packages called lipoproteins. The low density lipoprotein (LDL) delivers cholesterol to the body. The high density lipoprotein (HDL) removes cholesterol from the blood stream. Fat is important but too much intake of it increases the risk of many diseases like heart attack and a stroke. In contrast, fiber may help lower your cholesterol.
3) Smoking is a great risk factor of many diseases like heart disease and cancer.
4) Exercise helps to reduce blood cholesterol. And moderate exercise makes our circulation clear.
5) Both of Mr and Mrs M work very hard. So, they feel much stress by circumstances at business.
To stay healthy, they have to do following four things.
(1) Eat balanced and regular diet -- our bodies keep their balance by means of various kinds of nutrition. So, we need many kinds of food to get necessary nutrition. And Mrs M needs especially to lose weight.
(2) Exercise -- they need daily exercise like walking and jogging.
(
3) Reduce stress -- this is a very serious problem. It can be said that it's impossible to remove our stress when we work. So, we need not to take stock of our stress. To keep our heart healthy, we need to have hobbies. Mr and Mrs M are in need of free time hobbies, too.
(4) Quit smoking -- Mr M needs to quit smoking.
Those who protect and keep our healthy bodies are we ourselves. Mr and Mrs M need to keep this in mind, and try to change their lifestyle.
2) too much fat intake
4) no exercise
5) stress
